Denying true nature

Never works well

Yet, accepting does.

Chance, as a coin tossed,

Ever a pair of outcomes

One hoped for, one dreaded

And when alone

Only temporary,

For it’s just a matter of time

Before it finds a hand to rest in.

I think I’m gonna be sad

I think it’s going away-

Although I’d rather be glad

I know it’ll be okay.

In the moment

Emotions curtail reason

Breathe and pause.

Acceptance – a choice

A meteor in the sky

A flash and joy!

Purity and Peace

Silhouettes in moonlight

Strolling – together.
