Tumultuous seas settle

Peaceful day under clear skies

Straight on till mornin’.

Crickets and stars

Company on our bedtime walk.

Poured into the pot
Frustration simmered to its essence
Washed away with the bath water.

If I forget myself,
Outside I watch the clouds bloom,
And I forget my self.

At dusk,
The bugs are so loud;
They bring silence,
To the troubled mind.
