Again,

My root serpent’s venom

Overwhelms.

Drowning in distraction
I take matters into my own hands
My elbow hurts.

In the lonely night
Legs sink between my teeth
I savor delicious flavor.

Struggling against snake’s venom
A veil crosses my eyes, tight and thin.

At the edge of sleep and falling lashes
Light crystals dance and bubbles swim.

Softly, slowly, and oh so soundly
Sinking into breasts and flesh and skin.

Her ankle caught me
Veins for my venom…
Rattling inside me.
