Slow moving snake
Wrapped outside – then inside
I am caught in the coils.

Two glasses of beer:
One almost empty,
One full…
And then there was only one!

The scars of your love,
Have left me and faded,
I can’t help feeling—
I kinda want some-more.

I yearn to surrender,
But I can only give in
To Peace.

The cicadas have returned,
Their song so soothing;
Each year a different brood,
All the same song.

What must it be like–
Living underground for years
Flying for only one summer.

How scary
And wonderful
It must be.
